hey james - congrats on your success here. just a question about removing crummy links. for my own website, there are hundreds of thousands of backlinks in webmaster tools pointing to my site. The site has no penalties or anything  - the traffic seems to be growing every week. would you recommend hiring someone to go through the link profile anyway to remove crummy links that just occur naturally?
For example, if your accounting software allows non-paying users to send a maximum of ten invoices a month, and a customer has already sent their tenth invoice and it’s nowhere near the end of their free trial yet, you can reach out and encourage them to upgrade their plan so they can send their eleventh invoice and so on. I know it’s bare bones, but I’m sure you get the point.
Yep and sometimes it’s just being a little creative. I’ve started a little blog on seo/wordpress just for fun actually… no great content on it like here though… but because the competition is so tough in these niches I decided to take another approach. I created a few WordPress plugins that users can download for free from wordpress.org… and of course these link to my site so this gets me visitors each day.
The terms 'expired domains' and 'dropped domains' are very common in online marketing. These are website addresses that have been registered, but then not extended or terminated after the contractual period ended. The domain is then re-released for registration. In most cases, website operators secure their domains for longer than the minimum period of a year by remaining registered with a hosting provider for a longer time.

Harris first posted some articles online, but only got a few clicks and comments on them. Only after he accused Hillary Clinton of saying the shooting of Harambe the gorilla was racially motivated, did he first start to get more attention with his stories. Harris then focused on political issues since he realized he could get a lot of clicks this way. Examples include accusing Bill Clinton of being involved in a sex ring for minors, as well as his wife intending to file for divorce.
To locate sites that might be interested in your content, e-mail other website owners in your industry--be sure to choose sites that receive attention and visits from your target market--and invite them to use your article on their site or in their newsletter at absolutely no cost. Many site owners need fresh content, so they'll be more than happy to post your articles--and it won't be long before those articles start driving traffic back to your site.
Hi will, this traffic is meant more for increasing your ranking positions in Google than it is for getting sales with which in turn will inevitably increase sales/optins etc. It's unlikely you'll get sales/optins with this traffic. As said, Ii's meant more for increasing your ranking positions in Google than it is for getting sales with which in turn will inevitably increase sales/optins etc. You may, but I can't guarantee that like I can ranking improvements. For any more questions, send me a message.
Thanks for sharing these great tips last August! I’ve recently adopted them and I have a question (that’s kind of connected to the last post): how important would promoting content be when using this strategy? For example, through Google Adwords. As I guess that would depend on the circumstances, but I am trying to discover if there’s a ‘formula’ here. Thanks in advance!
Many companies selling software have users in different stages namely trial, freemium, and paid users. For some of these companies, they have difficulties converting trial or freemium users into paying customers or making paid customers pay more to get better service or product features aka upselling. Though some may argue that making freemium customers pay for a product or service they’re currently using for free is still upselling.
For our client: We rolled out numerous new pieces of content onto their blog and news section; we aimed to make the content creative and funny. As the client was in the careers space we made use of “funny interview questions” and “technical interview questions” style articles. It was amazing that one of the articles even made it to the first page of Reddit. We also pushed out content which was related to various holidays in that year and also specific to the client’s industry and also current trends in the market.
Targeted Organic Keyword traffic is directly linked to your SEO (search engine optimization) efforts and Increase organic traffic. The higher ranking you can attain for competitive keywords, the more organic traffic you can expect.  Websites that feature consistently updated blogs, for example, will see a steady increase in organic search traffic and subsequently, enjoy improved positioning in search results.  As a marketer, it is important to review your keywords and identify new ranking opportunities each month.

The traffic it`s self can not damage the website, nor the website`s page ranks; as a mater of fact it can improve page rank of the site. But, it may damage your web-server if not properly configured, or it`s resources are not adequate; slowing it down, due to the amount of traffic it has to handle; or even in extreme cases, even shutting it down for god.
Pop-under ads are a lot like pop-up ads except that they appear behind the browser instead of obnoxiously covering the page your site visitor is browsing. Pop-under ads tend to be more effective than pop-up ads because they don’t hamper your experience with the site you are currently on. Users have learned to just click exit when a pop-up ad comes up. Pop-under ads can be viewed at a later time of the users own choosing, encouraging the user to give it a second thought.
7search: 7search is another PPC “Pay Per Click” source that is not so well known. The fact that they are not as well known as the heavy hitters like Google, Bing and Yahoo gives you a little advantage as far as pricing goes. You can easily set up a campaign and choose your keywords with prices that range in the pennies per click. You can also set your own daily budget so you will not run over the allotted amount you’re willing to spend.
Hack #1: Hook readers in from the beginning. People have low attention spans. If you don’t have a compelling “hook” at the beginning of your blogs, people will click off in seconds. You can hook them in by teasing the benefits of the article (see the intro to this article for example!), telling a story, or stating a common problem that your audience faces.
So one way to get Google to take notice of that about your site is to make that happen by getting people to search something to do with your site in Google or whatever and then click on it. Through continued searching and then visiting your site, this in time will improve the ranking of your site and make Google think that your site is the one that people are most clicking on. That means through continued use of this service, you can outrank your competitors and do better than them without even needing to lift a finger! Just sit back and watch as the visitors start searching and rolling into YOUR site and your rankings start improving!

You want your request to be thorough and professional. If you can present a persuasive argument for why the link request benefits both of you, you stand a better chance of forging a connection. And if you're really eager to get your link on their site, be prepared to up the ante by offering them a commission or a link on your site in return. The investment could be well worth the extra exposure your marketing message receives.

One rule you can always follow in regards to making sites and driving traffic to them is - CONTENT IS KING. There will be nothing else in this world that will drive traffic as much as good content does. Nothing will attract more customers and visitors. Doesn’t matter what your niche is - as long as your content is good, you will see an audience that will grow exponentially.
In one instance, a company using this software to present a 10% off coupon to exiting visitors improved its overall conversion rate by 13%, resulting in 2,423 conversions that would have otherwise been lost that month. That's pretty powerful. Companies like Picreel offer exit intent technology that'll help you capture visitors before they leave your website.

The first thing in the process is to form a reputable list and from there you would want to start testing each one. Some of them will prove to be better then others, but as I said in the beginning of this article you always need to remain focused on generating organic traffic from the search engines because this is the traffic that will convert better then anything that you can pay for and this is the traffic that will last for years to come without having to spend money on it.
I’m considering a niche that I’m not sure I can find good influencers for – fundraising. School fundraising or charitable fundraising. I’m passionate about it but how would I get my articles shared by influencers? The non-profit sector is somewhat apprehensive about promoting commercial sites, unless it’s fundraising software. The name really says it all: “non”-profit.
Reviews of bought traffic sellers are all over the place, including the ones you’ll find on this site. Before you buy traffic to your site, it’s always a good idea to check what others who have already done the same thing think about the seller. It’s also important to not pay too much attention on things like star ratings. Instead, really look at the praises and complaints, and try to see if they have any merit.
What do these stats mean? First, these are from a profile I use that broadly groups types of content into single URLs. This site has over one million URLs, and I find most useful to categorize everything into types of pages (you can do this with filtered profiles in GA, which is probably the topic of another post). You can see the Index page of the site is how most people are entering by far. 22% bounce immediately, meaning something about the home page felt completely wrong for whatever those people were looking for. We’ll examine how to improve that number in future posts. You’ll notice a few popular blog posts have much higher bounce rates. These are the “Miss Untargeted” that are coming to your site for one-off content, but are probably not interested in buying whatever you are selling. It is interesting to note that one blog only has a bounce rate of 50%, indicating there is something about that post that invites people to dig further into your site.

Use the right anchor text. Using our previous example: if you wanted to internally link to the “how to make money” blog post, you can write a sentence in another blog, like “Once you have mastered [how to make money], you can enjoy as much luxury as you can dream.” In this case, the reader has a compelling case for clicking on the link because of both the anchor text (“how to make money”) and the context of the sentence. There is a clear benefit from clicking the link.

If looking to attract customers from United States, buy USA traffic for the best possible results. For businesses targeting customers in Great Britain, buying UK traffic would be a better option. The traffic you buy can be targeted to match the objectives of your business. Generic web traffic can be useful, but doesn’t hold nearly the same kind of power as niche targeted website traffic.

Of course it’s very difficult to read people’s intentions just by looking at numbers. The only real way we can try to find their intent is by looking at what they searched for to get to us (hurry before the number of logged in Google users increases!). Create a report of Organic Search Traffic ordered by Ecommerce conversion rate to see what terms are the most valuable. You’ll usually see some good long tail keywords you never would have considered. I would also sort by 0% conversions to see the keywords you may be wasting your time with. Remember to normalize these results by filtering to see keywords with at least 10 visits or so.
I started a movie blog last October http://thefilmbox.org/ and have been working ever since to grow the site as a way of generating a secondary income for my family. I knew the road would be long and hard but had no idea how frustrated I’d get blogging. Some days are awful, nobody it seems visits or likes what you’re doing. Others are great. Yesterday for example I broke my record for views in a day, currently 18,902 off of 17,728 visitors from a reddit post that took off. But today my traffic is back to a trickle. My daily average views are about 400-500. Sometimes more, but hardly less.

Bid on targeted, descriptive keywords. So don't just bid on "sock;" bid on "red wool sock." Not only are targeted keywords and phrases usually cheaper to bid on--they'll also attract more qualified potential buyers. Use a keyword selection tool like Google's AdWords Keyword Tool to research targeted keywords that attract maximum traffic for minimal cost-per-click.
Often, your ability to offer the right product and incentive is based on the information you have gathered during the awareness and comparison stages, when you qualified your visitors and identified areas of greatest concern for them. To the extent that you have invited your prospective clients and customers to tell you about themselves, it will be easier and easier to get them to buy.

There is some talk amongst SEO experts and gurus how CTR could be the biggest SEO factor of them all. That Google ranks sites high in the SERPs by which ones are clicked on the most and not by how many backlinks they have or how great their on-page SEO is. That does help but there is indeed some direct correlation in this claim as it makes sense since Google wants to rank the best, most perfect choice for a searcher and one way of knowing that, is by ranking the site that gets the most clicks highest in the SERPs.
Please note: To maintain a high quality in our network, we don't accept sites containing exit-popups, framebreakers (unless service extra is added), any illegal content, adult websites/content, pornography, social media pages, Rotators, paid link shorteners, bannerfarms, illegal download/streaming pages, scam, pyramid schemes, fraud, copyright infringements, gambling, Java Applets, forced installs, fake pages, any cheating, fishy stuff and sites redirecting to such content.
When thinking about web traffic, it’s also good to remember that as a website owner, your job isn’t limited to content creation. You’re also supposed to promote what you have to offer. You see, generating website traffic is not something that happens by chance. It’s the product of good hardwork, and this hardwork involves good marketing and promotional strategies.

Even though traffic is intrinsically tied to conversation rates, it seems that too many people have a lot of misunderstandings regarding the relationship between these two aspects. For one thing, the size of the traffic you get does not matter If it doesn’t lead to the kind of conversion rate you need. If you really want to earn money from the visitors coming to your site, they need to be of high quality.
For a website to be successful it all starts with landing pages that convert well and have high conversion rates. This means that a high percentage of the people that visit your website also actually perform a desired action. A desired action could be the purchase of a product, a membership registration, newsletter subscriptions or clicking on an advertisement, but it can also be any action that you want your visitors to do that goes beyond simple web browsing.
Mr. Shotgun – This guy isn’t great at searching, just average. If he wants to buy a new 2012 Audi A6 with leather, his query is probably just “audi”. Then he clicks on the first search result he gets without reading, hits back, clicks the next one, hits back, until he finds something that kind of meets his expectations. These are the people that end up on page 5 of Google result and kill your bounce rate if you don’t have a clear message.
You can see a wealth of traffic sources in the list I have provided above that will generate more traffic then you can imagine. The task is to go through them and find the ones that will provide the best results for the niche that you are targeting. I have listed a few of the traffic sources that I personally use above with a brief explanation on each of them.
The solution is simple: Buy traffic through PPC search engines. Pay-per-click search engines are a lot like auctions--they allow you to bid for top-ranking positions under keywords of your choice. For each visitor who searches the keyword(s) you bid on and then clicks through to your site, you pay whatever you bid. Prices typically range from five cents to a few dollars per click-through for popular keywords.

WTG Traffic is the perfect kind of traffic for building a list. If you can get this traffic to convert into an email list you will be way ahead of the game. Once you have an email address, now you will be able to market to that person over and over again. If you’re not collecting emails for your list then chances are you will never see that person again, they will end up being someone that just passes through.

When analyzing your website’s statistics, you first must remove visits from robots so that you can isolate traffic from actual human beings. Then, you can filter out visitors that would clearly be irrelevant to you. If you only do business in a specific geographical area, any visits that originate far outside that area are not likely to ever become a customer. You can also filter out traffic that is not likely to be of great quality based on language.
So there is the Traffic Booster, which I have been using for about 1,5 years now with three of my shops and its a pretty cool app. You can basically choose pretty specifically what kind of traffic you want (age, gender, location etc.) and its a scale-able app so I think I started out back then paying something like 30$ and I decided to increase my investment over time because I kept getting a pretty constant stream of very good traffic.

Once you make your purchase, it should boost traffic for websites you’ve linked to. This is the first step in determining whether or not your purchase was worth it. The first step is getting people to your site. Going from 50 or 60 hits a day to hundreds or thousands has huge potential for a business. Just as any marketing strategy would have attempted, the idea is to get people to notice your website and to be interested in the offers you have made.

On the other hand, if you’re resourceful enough, you can compile some great keywords without paying for anything at all. You might have to deal with advertising in this category but that’s normal and worth it if you are targeting lots of visitors. Try to keep your mobile audience in mind when researching too as well as with your social media network marketing.
For our client: We were lucky enough to remove most from the prior agency outreach, we also went directly to many webmasters in which we wanted to remove links. We did not use the Disavow tool as it was not around when we completed this link cleanup, but we all know it has been said that if you are going to use the Disavow Tool to use it with caution.
We also trained a deep neural network—a computer system modeled on the human brain and nervous system—with a large set of bounce and conversions data. The neural net, which had a 90% prediction accuracy, found that as page load time goes from one second to 10 seconds, the probability of a mobile site visitor bouncing increases 123%. Similarly, as the number of elements—text, titles, images—on a page goes from 400 to 6,000, the probability of conversion drops 95%.8
