Another great post Ramsay, lots of food for thought. The one thing that finally got me over the 100k hits a month mark was trend lead content, although it has a short life span it can give that immediate boost (in my case over 30k extra hits). Plus generally I find after a big spike like that traffic doesn’t go back to where it was before, it stays a little higher.
I was one of those folks who simply stumbled across your blog in a google search about starting a blog a couple weeks ago. I am one of those folks who has been tinkering and researching blog fine-tuning for a few years now. I have never learned more from one blog. Your content is consistently relevant, and applicable. You clearly live (in the blog world) exactly what you preach and I am very thankful to have come across your blog. Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge, your expertise, and your trials and errors. I’m sure I will have a question or two down the line, but just wanted to take the time to say “Hello!” and thanks.
We should warn you that we can not guarantee the improved performance of your website. How well the visitors from our traffic convert is totally dependent on your website. For starters it depends on what kind of website you have, as you might imagine, a website that sells expensive smartphones would logically have lower conversion rate than a simple online shoe store
Thanks Jure. That actually makes sense. Exactly: I’ve tested lowering the number of tips in a few posts and it’s helped CTR/organic traffic. One thing to keep in mind is that the number can also be: the year, time (like how long it will take to find what someone needs), % (like 25% off) etc. It doesn’t have to be the number of tips, classified ads, etc.
Brian, great post as always! Question: Do you consider authority sites (industry portals) a form of “influencer marketing?” e.g. guest blogging, etc? In some niches there are not so many individuals who are influencers (outside of journalists) but there are sites that those in the industry respect. I am in the digital video space and for me one site is actually a magazine that is building a very strong digital presence. Thanks, keep up the good work!
Focus on “dwell time” (how long site visitors spend with your content), rather than vanity metrics like pageviews. Creating quality content is extremely important because Google cares about how deep people navigate into your site, whether they hit the back button, and worst of all, whether they return to the search results page because they didn’t find the information they were looking for.
Hey Kosta! As a fashion blogger myself, I totally understand where you’re coming from! I think a great way to incorporate the tips Ramsay uses here is by trying to find a way that you can use your outfit shoot to help/give suggestions to your readers–tips on layering, pattern clashing–that way the post is also more likely to be shared! (well that is at least in my own experience!).
You want your request to be thorough and professional. If you can present a persuasive argument for why the link request benefits both of you, you stand a better chance of forging a connection. And if you're really eager to get your link on their site, be prepared to up the ante by offering them a commission or a link on your site in return. The investment could be well worth the extra exposure your marketing message receives.
"I've been using SEO WEBSITE TRAFFIC for several months and plan to continue for the foreseeable future. I run an online gaming website and found getting the site off the ground a real struggle. I tried many advertising networks with little success simply because they were too expensive. I then found SEO WEBSITE TRAFFIC and decided to give them a try. The traffic started flooding in within just 24 hours and so did the advertising revenue. I couldn't be happier."

I am too much late to commenting on this article. I want to read "How much get Organic traffic by SEO", found your your article on top & really very interesting. James Norquay, you did good research.I think Now days google block mostly SEO activities. The traffic it`s self can not damage the website, nor the website`s page ranks; as a mater of fact it can improve page rank of the site. But, it may damage your web-server if not properly configured, or it`s resources are not adequate; slowing it down, due to the amount of traffic it has to handle; or even in extreme cases, even shutting it down for god.
