Once you decide which kind of traffic you want to buy, it’s time to compare some prices. Of course, you may decide to go with a combination of traffic directing deals. This means, in order to calculate the cost, you’ll need to add up all of them together. When it comes to pay-per-click, prices can vary greatly. It all depends on where your ad or link is placed. For example, an ad on a high traffic website with great click-through rates is going to cost you a lot more than one on a smaller site. Also, when you pay for those top sponsored search spots, you do tend to pay a high price.
This method of boosting your hit count has existed for almost as long as websites have to care about hit counts. Many have called it a black hat technique. Many more claim it doesn’t work. Some in the seedier underbelly of Internet marketing claim it certainly does work. When you purchase traffic, you’re essentially getting one of three types of traffic.
Offer a great customer experience to existing customers. This sounds so cliche, but your existing customers are your biggest promoters when you play your cards right. Work to generate promoters through customer experience and they will drive traffic to your site. You can do this by assuring that your website it user-friendly, your people are helpful, your product/service works and by providing lots of helpful content on your website that your customers will want to share with others.

Focus on “dwell time” (how long site visitors spend with your content), rather than vanity metrics like pageviews. Creating quality content is extremely important because Google cares about how deep people navigate into your site, whether they hit the back button, and worst of all, whether they return to the search results page because they didn’t find the information they were looking for.
Those are some beginner ways of segmenting users or figuring out what they are trying to do on your site, some proactive ways to segment is the use of Custom Variables. Most people use these to track “logged in users” or what affiliate someone came from, but what about tracking those people who found no search results? That’s what I did here, and there is no surprise there is $0 revenue from those users… perhaps an opportunity to use spelling correction or show similar products.

The first task i picked up from this post was to check out the post titles H1 tag situation. Buuuut…that means editing the php file, right? I’m reasonably capable with technical stuff but have learned the hard way to be wary of touching those files, it’s so easy to take the whole template down. Anyway, having looked at the single.php I haven’t the first clue how i’d go about changing the title tags, or even knowing what they are now. I’m sure I won’t be the only one. Could you maybe flesh that bit out to show us what to look for in the file and whereabouts it might be?

But all was not lost. Harris had added a pop up on the re-activated expired domain, which encouraged visitors to join a (fictitious) 'Stop the Steal' team. The aim was for the users to find out how Clinton manipulated the elections and how to stop them. By doing this, Harris was able to collect 24,000 e-mail addresses. What exactly he plans to do with them, is still unclear.
Thank you Brian. I am so brand spanking new to all this and i am really struggling with understanding it all. I have tried to read so many thing to help my website and this was the first article to really make sense however Being an urban, street menswear online store i feel like my niche is too broad?.. Hi, my name is Dimitrios and I am responsible for Crave Culinaire’s digital marketing. I would like to drive more traffic to Crave’s blog. Since Crave Culinaire is the only catering company who provides molecular cuisine, I thought about craving a blog post about that. The influencers in this niche have great success in utilizing recipes on their blogs. I will share some recipes of Brian Roland, owner and head chef of Crave Culinaire.

Yep and sometimes it’s just being a little creative. I’ve started a little blog on seo/wordpress just for fun actually… no great content on it like here though… but because the competition is so tough in these niches I decided to take another approach. I created a few WordPress plugins that users can download for free from wordpress.org… and of course these link to my site so this gets me visitors each day.
These are only some of the many strategies you can use to drive traffic to your website. Getting more website visitors does not happen overnight. It takes hard work and dedication, but we’ve eliminated the hard part for you: knowing what to do in the first place. Implement a mix of these strategies and you’ll start seeing improvements in your website traffic.

For me as an expert SEO this service is crucial, i purchase it to each customer i get in my Seo services portfolio; sessions are immediately visible in Google Analytics and considers them as coming from theselected keywords. Usually a package from 30k means an increase of about 5 positions if in the first page, and if the site is in the second or more, the increase of at least 10 positions monthly. Marco L.

First of all, there are many different ways to bring traffic to your website. You may invest in an actual visitor package which will give you so many unique visitors for one price. On the other hand, you may decide to put up ads on other websites and in search engines. In this case, you will likely pay-per-click. Another way to direct traffic to your site is through sponsored searches. These are the search results that pop up at the top of a search and are usually highlighted because they paid for those spots.

Often, your ability to offer the right product and incentive is based on the information you have gathered during the awareness and comparison stages, when you qualified your visitors and identified areas of greatest concern for them. To the extent that you have invited your prospective clients and customers to tell you about themselves, it will be easier and easier to get them to buy.

Thanks Brian. I’ve had a “a-ha” moment thanks to you! Great advice. I knew that backlinks would improve the organic SEO rankings to our client-targeted landing pages but I never knew it was through getting influencers to backlink blogs. I always just assumed it was great content that users wanted to share with others. It was driving me mad why people love my content but never share enough. Now I know!
If you have the resources to hire a marketing company which will run a huge campaign for your website - go for it, but even then you can still profit from buying highly targeted website traffic. From the moment you place an order, to the first visitors showing up and knocking at your website’s virtual door it usually takes less than 24 hours. Do you know any faster way to get to potential clients? If yes - please let us know :)
Awesome tips Brian. Always enjoy your posts. My question is, how can I boost traffic significantly if my keyword has pretty low search volume (around 100 monthly searches based on keyword planner)? I’ve been trying to expand my keyword list to include broader terms like “customer experience” but as you know that is super competitive. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance.
In one instance, a company using this software to present a 10% off coupon to exiting visitors improved its overall conversion rate by 13%, resulting in 2,423 conversions that would have otherwise been lost that month. That's pretty powerful. Companies like Picreel offer exit intent technology that'll help you capture visitors before they leave your website.

I personally have founded several online businesses and eCommerce shops over the last years. When I started out, I thought that the best way to be successful would be to get a lot of traffic to your site. I therefore started investing loads of time on social media and tried out many different apps (I also looked into agencies but they tend to be pretty expensive), which run ad campaigns on Google, Bing and Facebook.
Hi Brian! Very good and exactly what I was looking for. I have a problem though, we are creating the first video editing software that edits video WHILE FILMING. We are video geeks with a lot of experience, however we are trying to appeal to GoPro users and video tutorial makers but we have little knowledge in that field. Any suggestions on how we write about that if we have no idea about the space?

Not sure exactly why, perhaps I used a number too big and since my page is about classifieds, it probably seemed too much to browse through 1500 ads, I assume? Somewhat like you would post 800 tips for better ranking? Don’t know, will try to change things a bit and see how it goes, but you really gave me some new suggestions to go for with this article. Thanks again 🙂
Email marketing is still a highly effective channel for driving traffic to your website. However, it’s definitely evolved since the times of promotional blasts. Building a sequence that nurtures new sign-ups and develops a relationship is now an essential part of email marketing. In fact, even the basic welcome email is better than an old-school transactional one. According to a recent study, 320% more revenue is attributed to welcome emails than other promotional emails, so it definitely pays to have some kind of autoresponder series in place.
This information hits the mark. “If you want your content to go viral, write content that influencers in your niche will want to share.” I love the information about share triggers too. I’m wondering, though, if you could share your insights on how influencers manage to build such vast followings. At some point, they had to start without the support of other influencers. It would seem that they found a way to take their passion directly to a “ready” world. Excellent insights. Thanks for sharing.
For our client: We were lucky enough to remove most from the prior agency outreach, we also went directly to many webmasters in which we wanted to remove links. We did not use the Disavow tool as it was not around when we completed this link cleanup, but we all know it has been said that if you are going to use the Disavow Tool to use it with caution.

Brian, I’ve drunk your Kool aid! Thank you for honesty and transparency – it really gives me hope. Quick question: I am beyond passionate about a niche (UFOs, extraterrestrials, free energy) and know in my bones that an authority site is a long term opportunity. The problem today is that not many products are attached to this niche and so it becomes a subscriber / info product play. However, after 25+ years as an entrepreneur with a financial background and marketing MBA, am I Internet naive to believe that my passion and creativity will win profitability in the end? The target audience is highly passionate too. Feedback?
I feel I have great content…but most of it is within my email marketing campaign instead of my blogs. I’ve used my blogs to include links to my email marketing campaigns to lead to my product. In your opinion, should my blog content be the priority? I find my marketing emails sound more like a blog than just a “tip” or a reason to grab people to my list.

Even though traffic is intrinsically tied to conversation rates, it seems that too many people have a lot of misunderstandings regarding the relationship between these two aspects. For one thing, the size of the traffic you get does not matter If it doesn’t lead to the kind of conversion rate you need. If you really want to earn money from the visitors coming to your site, they need to be of high quality.
One of the other ways I do this is to make sure I link to all my favorite bloggers regularly when I write something that I think is pretty good. Bloggers really love getting links, and if you’ve included them on some awesome new resource that you’ve made you might just find that they link back to another one of your posts when they’re writing something new.

Excellent post Brian. I think the point about writing content that appeals to influencers in spot on. Could you recommend some good, manual strategies through which I can spot influencers in boring niches *B2B* where influencers are not really talking much online? Is it a good idea to rely on newspaper articles to a feel for what a particular industry is talking about? Would love to hear your thoughts on that.
The best way to see a return on your traffic investment is in the form of profits. When people who have clicked to your site go from visitors to customers, they are called conversions. You will want to look for websites that have both high click-through rates and a high amount of conversions before you place your ad. When purchasing actual visitors directly through a traffic company, you will want to take a look at their conversion numbers as well.
While short-tail keywords are often searched more frequently, it is more difficult to rank for them on search engines. Targeting long-tail keywords, on the other hand, gives you a better chance of ranking higher (even on the first page) for queries specific to your products and services—and higher ranking means more traffic. Plus, as search engines and voice-to-text capabilities advance, people are using more specific phrases to search online.
Web Traffic Guidance: WTG is a fast way of getting traffic to your website and works especially well while you’re waiting for your ranking to climb with Googles organic search. RT is traffic that is gathered from the internet and redirected to where ever you want it to go. This can be good source for targeted traffic. Your traffic is generated from the different sources. The price for this traffic is literally pennies per click, so it’s very easy to determine whether or not it’s worth it without spending a lot of money.

The solution is simple: Buy traffic through PPC search engines. Pay-per-click search engines are a lot like auctions--they allow you to bid for top-ranking positions under keywords of your choice. For each visitor who searches the keyword(s) you bid on and then clicks through to your site, you pay whatever you bid. Prices typically range from five cents to a few dollars per click-through for popular keywords.

Very happy with the services from this traffic provider. Realtrafficsource sent me what I would call buyer traffic. My online store normally has a conversion rate of 2-3% but with the traffic from RTS it increased with 2% more and brought me a ry nice profit. Just purchased my 3 package with US visitor and on my way to buy my first UK traffic package.
I wanted to expand on your point regarding re-investing some money into paid advertising. What good about putting money into AdWords, is that (aside from getting good traffic) you can use the search term report and see what people were actually searching for that triggered your ads and clicks. This is super helpful in developing a content strategy for SEO. Obviously with Facebook , this is not possible.

So many great tips! There are a couple of things I’ve implemented recently to try and boost traffic. One is to make a pdf version of my post that people can download. It’s a great way to build a list:) Another way is to make a podcast out of my post. I can then take a snippet of it and place it on my Facebook page as well as syndicate it. As far as video I’ve started to create a video with just a few key points from the post. The suggestion about going back to past articles is a tip I am definitely going to use especially since long-form content is so important. Thanks!
WTG Traffic is the perfect kind of traffic for building a list. If you can get this traffic to convert into an email list you will be way ahead of the game. Once you have an email address, now you will be able to market to that person over and over again. If you’re not collecting emails for your list then chances are you will never see that person again, they will end up being someone that just passes through.
