It is crucial as your conversion rates will be greatly improved and the products and services you offer will be bought at a higher rate as you will be receiving the right kind of customers. In addition, the constant traffic that is channeled to your website will have a great role to play in lifting the ranking of your website thus providing you greater visibility in Google searches.
Fab Ramsay! What a post dude. Passion screams at me. You can follow practical easily if passion fuels your following. If that makes sense. I don’t pull in that type of Google traffic but I have the passion to fuel my drive, to reach that point. Really, loving what you do makes what you do fun, and if you’re a fun loving blogger you’ll detach from outcomes to do the slow stuff, mentioned, that leads to these staggering results. Thanks dude, what a resource!
Bing Ads: Bing Ads is the second largest PPC advertising platform on the internet. Bing Ads works very much the same way as Google AdWords, except they are a little more lenient with affiliate marketers, and their keywords are priced much better. This is because Google AdWords holds the number one position and Bing Ads has a smaller slice of the pie.
An e-commerce store: You can buy traffic, but think for a second. Do you really think that they will purchase an item of your’s?. Try to get a targeted country wise or age appropriate set of customer mail list in case of an e-commerce website. In order to find this, you will have to research in the dark web and deep web. It will be expensive as hell if you want to purchase this traffic. Also SEO and re-targeting and re-marketing works well.
Hi Brian! Very good and exactly what I was looking for. I have a problem though, we are creating the first video editing software that edits video WHILE FILMING. We are video geeks with a lot of experience, however we are trying to appeal to GoPro users and video tutorial makers but we have little knowledge in that field. Any suggestions on how we write about that if we have no idea about the space?
What do these stats mean? First, these are from a profile I use that broadly groups types of content into single URLs. This site has over one million URLs, and I find most useful to categorize everything into types of pages (you can do this with filtered profiles in GA, which is probably the topic of another post). You can see the Index page of the site is how most people are entering by far. 22% bounce immediately, meaning something about the home page felt completely wrong for whatever those people were looking for. We’ll examine how to improve that number in future posts. You’ll notice a few popular blog posts have much higher bounce rates. These are the “Miss Untargeted” that are coming to your site for one-off content, but are probably not interested in buying whatever you are selling. It is interesting to note that one blog only has a bounce rate of 50%, indicating there is something about that post that invites people to dig further into your site.
Last month, in an effort to get a better sense of how Google’s advertising partners are doing, we did an analysis of 11 million mobile ads’ landing pages spanning 213 countries.5 That analysis confirmed our thesis: Even as most traffic is now occurring on 4G instead of 3G,6 the majority of mobile sites are still slow and bloated with too many elements.
You have also mentioned Quuu for article sharing and driving traffic. I have been using Quuu for quite sometime now and I don’t think they’re worth it. While the content does get shared a lot, there are hardly any clicks to the site. Even the clicks that are there, average time is like 0.02 seconds compared to more than 2 minutes for other sources of traffic on my website. I have heard a few guys having a similar experience with Quuu and so, I thought should let you know.
Influencer marketing drives traffic because most people trust recommendations from friends and influencers more than they trust companies’ ads and marketing. When an influencer recommends your product or services, the people who follow that influencer are sure to check it out. Because of this, influencer marketing is an effective way to attract visitors to your site, to get leads and make sales. To use this effectively, it’s important to identify and work with trusted influencers in your niche.
The solution is simple: Buy traffic through PPC search engines. Pay-per-click search engines are a lot like auctions--they allow you to bid for top-ranking positions under keywords of your choice. For each visitor who searches the keyword(s) you bid on and then clicks through to your site, you pay whatever you bid. Prices typically range from five cents to a few dollars per click-through for popular keywords.
Optimizing a website to increase visitors requires the right keywords and the only way to actually get them is to do research. Now, while there are several ways that you can do this, the general methods can be broken down into paid and free. Paid keyword research tools are usually very powerful and can provide customers with a lot of great options to choose from, which leads to more regular visitors.
Mr. Shotgun – This guy isn’t great at searching, just average. If he wants to buy a new 2012 Audi A6 with leather, his query is probably just “audi”. Then he clicks on the first search result he gets without reading, hits back, clicks the next one, hits back, until he finds something that kind of meets his expectations. These are the people that end up on page 5 of Google result and kill your bounce rate if you don’t have a clear message.
The best targeted traffic you can buy is probably Google AdWords. Google is the most well known search engine and the biggest source of online traffic on the internet. When building an online business of any kind, Google needs to be part of your marketing strategy and the more you learn how to harness the power of Google the more successful your business will become.
For our client: We took the top PPC terms based on conversion and worked these keywords into existing pages on the website. We also created new high-quality content-based pages from these conversion terms. This type of strategy can work very well in assisting overall conversions on the website and driving more revenue. We also conducted a large-scale keyword research project for the client which yielded in uncovering many areas of opportunity for content development and targeting.
To locate sites that might be interested in your content, e-mail other website owners in your industry--be sure to choose sites that receive attention and visits from your target market--and invite them to use your article on their site or in their newsletter at absolutely no cost. Many site owners need fresh content, so they'll be more than happy to post your articles--and it won't be long before those articles start driving traffic back to your site.
In one instance, a company using this software to present a 10% off coupon to exiting visitors improved its overall conversion rate by 13%, resulting in 2,423 conversions that would have otherwise been lost that month. That's pretty powerful. Companies like Picreel offer exit intent technology that'll help you capture visitors before they leave your website.
The html file has to be on the root of your website, for precaution reasons. Technically, nothing could stop a bad intended person from spamming any given website with spam-keywords; and the owner of that website has no way of knowing what is happening. This is the reason for which we consider that if you are able to put a predefined html file in the root of the targeted website, we could somehow rest assure that you really ordered those visits for the targeted website; either this, or that website is cracked wide-open and the owner has bigger problems than our visits.
I really enjoyed your post, im building my own business from the ground up making custom furniture, lighting, and home decor. it took me a year to launch my website and now im trying to invite more traffic and ways for clients and interested parties to share my content and start buying my product. I liked the idea of Share triggers… im going to be incorporating that into my social media strategies. Any advice would go a long way. thanks again Brian
That was the most informative article I have read dealing with behind the scene work when building a Blog. I have been blogging for a year and a half now and it is challenging to move up in Google ranking and getting more viewers. I am on Blogger and I have over 400 articles. I want to switch to WordPress but when I tried the switch it messed up every articles layout. I have reached about 1000 page views a day now but I know I could get 3 or 4 times that with some help. If you have any ideas I would appreciate it. Maybe I need to start all over.
Harris announced in his top story what conspiracy theorists long suspected. 'Tens of thousands' of Clinton votes had been found in a warehouse in Ohio. Police were investigating, according to Harris’ article. He even added a stock image containing a warehouse worker and the alleged ballot papers in boxes. To accompany the image, Harris added the story of a supposed plot with the aim of influencing the outcome of the election. The plan was to smuggle the ballot papers under the completed ballot papers on the day of the counting, making Clinton the unlawful winner.
