Having a micro-influencer publish a blog post on your site can help to increase your web traffic, as they are likely to share the post with their large audience. It can also help to add more variety to your content and show your visitors that you are active in your field. The secret is that there is no easy way to buy traffic. It is difficult to arrange for people to come to your website, click around, and buy something. I would recommend you to pay attention to three central theses of purchasing traffic. 1) PPC campaigns are a definite must 2) paid inclusion in newsletters, ads, and banners, can be successful if well-placed and well-designed 3) bulk targeted traffic is a scam. Note: industry information on lead generation is somewhat guarded. Lead generation and the purchase of traffic is a complicated business, with networks and affiliate groups.
Recently there has been a surge of searches around "buy organic traffic", which seems odd because organic traffic isn't something that is bought. Rather it is earned based on compelling content. Theoretically you could be buying traffic from someone who places the link to your website in some hidden way and potentially harmful for your business, for example let’s say you are selling ebooks and they guy whom you paid for that traffic is posting backlinks on website that have no connections to your niche, for example, some selling cars forum or something similar and he is basically baiting people into clicking to that hyperlink.

We have always struggled with thinking of and targeting relevant keywords because keywords like ‘videography’ and ‘family movies’ don’t really some up what she is about. Your article ties in with other learnings we have come across where we obviously need to reach out to right people and get them to share to get her product out there because purely focusing on keywords I don’t think will get us anywhere.
Some people will tell you that guest blogging is no longer effective, but with a strategic approach, guest blogging can still be one of the best ways to generate website traffic. The most important thing is to blog on sites that are relevant to your audience so that you generate high-quality traffic. Offer a lead magnet to entice new visitors over to your website, and return the favor by asking other writers to guest post on your site too, then share that content on social media. Don’t limit yourself to written posts either -- podcasts, Instagram takeovers and YouTube guest appearances are all highly effective in 2018 and beyond.

If I understand it correctly, are you saying that we would better be off looking at market data in our niche and make an article of that for influencers to share rather than actionable tips that the target clients would be interested in? Shouldn’t there be a double strategy – articles for the influencers to share and articles for the users to enjoy?
